SquareZero Inc. ("Company"), a company incorporated under the laws of the Republic of Korea, is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act of Korea (PIPA) and other applicable laws.
Article 1 (Purpose of Collection and Use of Personal Information)
The Company collects and uses personal information for the following purposes:
- Account registration and management: Name, email address, company name, password
- Payment processing: Payment card information, billing details (processed through third-party payment providers)
- Service improvement: Usage data, feature usage patterns (collected in anonymized/aggregated form)
- Customer support: Inquiry details, communication records
- Marketing communications (with consent): Email address for promotional materials and service updates
Article 2 (Items of Personal Information Collected)
- Required: Email address, password, name, company name
- Automatically collected: IP address, browser type, device information, access logs, cookies
- Payment-related (collected by payment providers): Card number, card holder name, billing address
Article 3 (Retention and Use Period)
- Personal information is retained for the duration of membership. Upon account termination, information is destroyed without delay, except as required by applicable law.
- Retention periods required by law:
- Records of contracts or subscription withdrawal: 5 years (Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce)
- Records of payment and supply of goods: 5 years
- Records of consumer complaints or dispute resolution: 3 years
- Access logs: 3 months (Protection of Communications Secrets Act)
Article 4 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)
The Company does not provide personal information to third parties without the Member's consent, except in the following cases:
